Often in the midst of a hard training camp the importance of rest is often neglected. Although most of us are hobbyists in our gym and not full time athletes, burn outs still come creeping in. I make it point to relax during the middle of the week after 4 days of hard gym time. Today I just did my laundry and made some donuts for my teammates.
These are special donuts with Filipino flavors, specifically Yema and Tsokolate. My girlfriend and I have been making these on the side for some extra cash, but I do it mostly because I find it relaxing. Making a full video of us making this from start to finish soon.
I'm trying to cut weight so I only ate one ;) This was my cheat meal for the week. These days of rests and cheat meals are a reset button for our mind. However these things have to be earned. They are only satisfying if you do the work. If you slack off in training you will feel like shit on your rest days. So work hard and play hard as they say.

Got some tsokolate, which is our based on our local chocolate drink and topped with chocnut, a local sweet made of peanuts and chocolate.
