Black mirror is a British science fiction TV series. I like to think about it as each episode is a shorter movie (1h) with similar theme - the impact of technology. Altough themes are similar, each episode has its specific problem which is elaborated. Also actors change. You don't have to watch episodes how they are aired, read the caption of every and choose your own order.
Imagine that you can record everything you see and then rewatch it! Sounds amazing, right? Watch episode 3 season 1 for more.
One of my favorites is White Christmas. I recommend everyone (season 2, episode 4).
Season 3 has several good episodes, such as episode 1 which talks about what if we all had social media score? And live our lives by that? Your score determines your job, your partner, places you can visit, things you can do and so on. Motivating, until it starts getting down.
Or what if we could go to a place where everything is how we want it? Go to another world while we are sleeping?
Season four came out at the end of 2017. I watched only episode 2, Arkangel. Talks about possibility to implant a chip inside your child and be able to locate them, found out about their health, see trough their eyes (literally see exactly what they see). It's interesting, but the idea of that possibility is terrible to me. What do you think?
I've written in depth reviews of the first four episodes of Season 4 and I'm planning to write the remaining two soon.
