RE: What I Would Give....

in #blessed7 years ago

It's fucked up how some of the people who deserve children the most can't have them but low life's that I wouldn't let watch my dog are having litter after litter. My sister who has a great job with full benefits is a devout Christian and financially secure had to go to China to adopt her daughter... cost her about 80K

That is crazy man and there is no way in hell we could even come close to being able to afford that!
Just the other day, a mother was driving down the road with her baby in the car when she passed another car in a no-passing zone. Speed being one of the factors, she ran off of the road and ended up with the car submerged in a pond. She was able to make it out of the car and swim to safety but left the baby inside the car. She never attempted to go back after the baby. Needless to say the baby was dead when the first responders pulled the baby out.

I just wrote a post about how you shouldn't judge other people unless you've been in their shoes and even then you should tread carefully. But I just can't imagine how someone could even think about themselves in a time like that. Getting my baby out would have been my absolute main priority. And if I couldn't get the baby out, then I probably wouldn't have made it out either. She shouldn't have even been putting the childs life in danger in the first place by driving recklessly. I know charges are pending obviously. I hope they shove the book up her ass.

And in my line of work, you just wouldn't believe the horrible things that I have seen over the years that have just made my stomach turn and make me want to take children in on my own. It's just not fair!

And if you're not familiar with the case, you should read up on what happened to poor Erica Parsons. She was actually adopted also. So sad, man.

Wow. I just read the article on Google. I hope those adoptive parents get exactly what they deserve.
