Hey everyone, I'm here to talk about my last two weekend events in Gods Unchained, or better well-known as the Weekend Ranked (WR).
My WR for December 24-26 was my best weekend results ever. I went 19/25 with my Aggro Warrior. I originally got to Mythic playing Warrior, and after a hiatus from playing War on the weekend, I'm back and it's feeling great. I recorded winning 20 games in my first 25, but Gods Unchained's spreadsheet said I had 19. But I shouldn't complain, because when I opened my Epic Divine Order pack I received
the last one sold for 0.135Eth. This is a great example of the P2E mechanics working. It seems fitting to get this on my best weekend yet. I just bought a Diamond Anubian Redeemed the week before because I wanted to own my first Diamond. To celebrate this great pull I gave out my Anubian Redeemer in a Marbles race at the end of my stream.
For my December 31 - January 2 Weekend Ranked, I also went 19/25 with Aggro War. Back-to-back weeks doing the best I've ever done feels great. After my first 25 games I did my flux wheel to more success. I only lost once doing my wheel, and that was with Light. I ended the weekend at #9 in MMR.
I was thinking of doing the Flux Wheel WR Challenge, which is going around the flux wheel during the weekend event. 18 is considered a success, and if you get past 18 you can use your undefeated Gods to finish your first 25 games. Not many people have done this, but FakemewsTV got 23 wins this past Friday, and KrumpyLumpkins got 20 wins last weekend. With how I did on my flux wheel yesterday, I am considering doing this more. The only reason I wouldn't want to do the Flux Wheel Challenge is because it's scary risking packs to do a stunt. Weekend packs are everything for GU players, and it's actually all about your unpacking luck with those packs.
Here is my main deck code for anyone interested GU_1_6_BDoBDoBDyBDyBEXBEXBEyBEyBFvBFvCAXCAXCAZCAZCCjCCjCDZCDZCDqCDqIAVIAVIAZIAZIDkIDoIDoIDrHAFHAF Now something that needs to be addressed. I was asked by BitcoinGod (lol boomer coin) for my deck code during my games and I refused. Stream snipers are real and I'm not comfortable making it easier for someone to snipe me. Later on, while doing my flux, I ran into BitcoinGod, and he did the classic "rope on turn one" which I take as a sign that the person I'm playing against is looking up my stream. Maybe that's not always the case, but BitcoinGod got banned from my chat for being rude and calling another chatter "sniper", and continuing to call that chatter out even though I said to drop it. This is an example of what NOT TO DO. Do not come into my chat be a rude, aggressive, bad sport. You will get a very quick ban, I do not care to have those people around me. His response to me calling him out on my stream for sniping, was to rope me for 4 turns. Nice temper tantrum dude, no one is impressed by that. This makes you a worse player over time, you're giving yourself a handicap. I'm more than willing to help new players, or anyone with anything GU related, if it doesn't negatively impact my own performance. I stuck to my guns about not giving out information about the deck I was currently using in a tournament, and I was vindicated by fighting that player later.
Good luck to everyone in your future games, and as always in the crypto space, don't give out more than you are willing to. There are abusive people everywhere and this is a common place to be taken advantage of. If you are getting back vibes from a person, there is a reason. To the trolls and haters, thanks for the free rent.
