INTRODUCTION

The perception of countries concerning a perfect society is basically the realization of a society that solves both environmental and energy-related issues that is in tandem withthe Goals set by UNSDG.
Developing countries are still far behind in the realizations of these goals, the traditional methods used as proved to be abortive which has derailed the attainment of sustainable development. The introduction and use of the Internet of Things (IoT) have proven to be the only solution that can solve these challenges.
CitiOS Blockchain technology has shown to have more prospects in solving some of these issues and help these developing countries achieve SDG’s Goals and if fully adopted, issues as relating to energy, the environment will be fully solved.

THE SOLUTION

CitiOS is a blockchain solution that is poised with providing solutions to issues relating to;

1. Environmental pollution: This pollution has led to the reduction or depletion of natural resources and increased disasters around the world hence the need for a system to keep these calamities in check and help in the recovery process.
2. Tough economy: As the world economies are getting tighter and society getting desperate, a system is required to help keep these societal problems in check especially within emergent nations.
3. Dilapidated structures: Third world countries still maintain pre-independence structures, it is therefore imperative that the viability of these structures is considered.

THE CITIOS TECHNOLOGY

CitiOS syncs the functionality of both the blockchain and the Internet of Things (IoT). The blockchain architecture comprises all the software needed to run an IoT data. Also it;

1. Runs on ETH technology with Linux OS
2. Replaces traditional database with secure ledger technology
3. Allows for traceability
4. Allows for the integration of third-party apps with API

1. Blockchain services: Each user possesses his own unique ID which enables traceability.

CITIOS BLOCKCHAIN APPLICATION

Health Monitoring: citios will help to predict whether infrastructural changes in time and take necessary measures to overcome various defects. The project can also reduce the time-consuming effort of verification engineering and save lives. It proposes an information-driven ecosystem for the benefit of the users.
Street lights: with the use of cutting edge AI CCTV system which is powered by efficient solar panels, AIoT street light will be enabled and will provide the following benefits to the community: alerting the authorities on reckless driving and over-speeding, alerting the police in case of an accident, notifying relevant bodies in case of a fire outbreak, alerting police in case of burglary or robbery attempts, detection of abnormal weather conditions and reporting it to the relevant authorities. The street lights function majorly to record digital evidence of occurrences in the society and it also provides security and privacy of its data by providing permission-based access with accountability.
The street is summarized into these four categories
• Edge AI camera
• Solar-powered
• Provide power
• LoRa private network
It is a low cost, efficient and reliable monitoring system. Also, three stakeholders in the society are also liable to benefit from this system

1. Individuals: safety
2. Corporation: retain ownership of purchased street light and provide access to services
3. Government: with ownership of street light, they provide security services to civilians and the option to collect data and customize the database by inputting resources into the data system.

WHERE CAN THIS TECHNOLOGY BE USED?

In developing countries
Damages caused by natural disasters could be minimized if it is detected early enough. In other words, faster response time to disaster would reduce damages. This can be achieved by monitoring structural health through surveillance using the AIoT Street light. The street light can also monitor and detect multiple people and objects at the same time and thus help to prevent any act of terrorism and prevent crime.

In developing countries
Its utilization in emerging countries will promote environmental safety ad to increase economic expansion; also, increase jobs.
