In 2009, the world changed forever. In this year, the light saw the first version of Bitcoin - a peer-to-peer payment system, with the unit of accounting for transactions and a data transfer protocol. I always knew that progress would never stand still, and as the future showed, there appeared other, more advanced projects, and bitcoin might forever remain a rarity, as the first cryptocurrency.
This technology was the first version, which was subsequently improved by another cryptocurrency - Ethereum. On the basis of Ethereum thousands of altcoins are now developing, and it has become a new stage in the evolution of the blockchain. The third stage of development was projected with advanced management and high productivity, improved consensus and the ability to interact with different networks. Now there are a lot of such developments, such as EOS, ZIL, ICON, COSMOS, and others. But the crypto community did not have time to realize blockchain 3.0, as a completely new level project appeared on the horizon, which claims to be a blockchain version 4.0. It's called Seele, which means "soul" in German.
What is interesting about the Seele project? I would like to know it and understand all the advantages from both the expert and the average user.
In the blockchain, there is the concept of a consensus. It is a decision-making mechanism/algorithm. After all, the blockchain is decentralized, it does not have a hierarchy. The paradox creates that these consensus algorithms are not compatible with efficiency, scaling, and security at the same time. PoW has large computational costs, PoS is not perfect in terms of both scaling and security, BFT faces the problem of too large a node size.
Seele presents the Neural Consensus algorithm, which combines the advantages of existing algorithms. Consensus issues are transformed into processing an asynchronous query and sorting data in a large scale environment. Also, reliable work for partially connected networks is realized. If the network connection is only half of the system, it can work stably. The most significant achievement of the algorithm is that there is linear scalability. This means that performance will increase with the size of the node. The ordering process no longer depends on the consensus, which eliminates the paralysis of the protocol.
For the user, the main purpose of the Neural Consensus will be to increase productivity by about 40%.
To overcome the limitations contained in the structure of a single chain, a new multiple network structure was proposed. This is the so-called Heterogeneous Forest Network. It will be a system similar to a hierarchical one, having its own subnets, but united in a single global network. To the branches of the tree will be connected to certain companies. The top of the chain of the whole tree is a chain of global services called “Meta chain”. It provides global configurations and services. The structure of a heterogeneous forest network can correspond to different types of complex business requirements, in the real world. VTP (Value Transport Protocol), as well as Value HTTP, are designed to detect, address and naming assets.
The platform also took care of the data security in the blockchain. The algorithm uses all existing nodes to work. Hackers will have to process 50% of all nodes, which is just not profitable for them.
Let's talk about the ICO. There will be 1000 000 000 tokens with ticker SEELE. 48% of the total amount will be allocated for sale. Type of tokens: ERC20. The cost of the token has already grown several times today. Furthermore, growth is forecasted. Many companies will want to become network nodes, as this is quite profitable. In Seele, control comes from the owners of the tokens and the commission receives the node-holders of the tokens.
