The Blockchain Education Network (BEN) is proud to welcome Blockchain Developers United (BDU) as a BEN partner. United, BEN and BDU will double the resources available to BDU’s developer community and BEN’s student community.
BDU’s developer network will gain access to BEN’s resources, including online lessons and tutorials, free and discounted tickets to blockchain conferences, job and internship opportunities, and more. BDU members will receive blockchain-based BEN certificates when completing lessons, which they can use to apply to companies through the BEN Jobs board.
BEN members will also benefit from BDU’s resources. Students will be encouraged to attend BDU developer training meetups held across the world. They will have access to all of BDU’s online resources, including lessons and hands on tutorials, paid industry projects and job opportunities, and a bounty system for students to both post and claim bounties. Students will also have the opportunity to start earning Devcash for completing developer tutorials which, combined with BENcoin, doubles the rewards that students can receive for completing lessons.
While the partnership makes it official, BEN already has a history with BDU. Some of the founding team are BEN alumni and a big part of our BEN Canada team. BEN also hosted BDU at ETHDenver 2020 for several Ethereum & solidity workshops as part of the official education track of the hackathon.
“BEN and BDU come together at a time when we need to provide even more for our communities. More lessons, more job opportunities, more rewards, more everything. BDU doubles the resources that BEN offers and that students need.” — Erick, President of BEN.
“Blockchain Developers United is excited to partner with BEN and join resources to empower the next generation of developers and entrepreneurs. We were founded on the commitment of providing hands on developer training, and are now able to reach a broader audience. We look forward to working with BEN and providing new and exciting opportunities for members to learn and contribute to the growing blockchain ecosystem.” — Kate, Community Organizer at BDU.

About BDU
BDU (Blockchain Developers United) is a decentralized network of developer meetup groups. BDU started in June 2017 from a single Meetup Group in Toronto, Canada, which focused on providing hands-on workshops on programming blockchain applications. Today, BDU spans a community across the globe with Meetup leaders in Singapore, India, the United States and Canada. Meetup leaders from these locations came together with the passion to bring education of blockchain technology for developers to their local communities.
