This is promising. As more governmental entities understand that now is not the time to tax blockchain, but to give the fledgling technology time to mature into robust and diverse solutions, it will be interesting to see where the battle-lines ultimately are drawn.
States look to technology to empower economic development, but at the federal level, blockchain represents a fundamental and tectonic shift in economic power. Eliminating central controls, modernizing regulatory processes and fueling brand to consumer value with these efficiencies promises to supercharge economies across the globe.
It is refreshing to see states like Nevada embrace this vein of change rather than work to hinder needed progress.
