Can anyone think of a blockchain solution for different nations to trust one another? When different countries arrange treaties or trade agreements today there is not much they can do if the agreement was broken. For example, a non-aggressive pact is not worth the paper it is written on, as proven many times in history when a country invades anyway. I was thinking along the lines of a significant proportion of a both nation's economy gets put into a smart contract tied to the treaty holding. That's probably not practical which is why I would like to hear of anyone's better ideas on this issue.

Hi Chaka, you have a new follower. I've been browsing through some of your posts and like how you bring up idea's and thoughts. Time's unfortunately too short to respond to them but definitely... They deserve a wider audience :-).
As for this issue: this is worth a forum section on itself :) but to pick out one thought: it might be interesting to dissect what actually this trust in between countries is about...and see how it can be affected.
Actually I think/hope/believe this is already happening on a basic level. With all aspects of our world that possibly are about to become more trustworthy,... this might on it's own already have a major effect on state to state affairs :).
Greetings and keep up the good work!
Hans
An excellent idea of it needs to be developed
