Huobi wallet
Huobi is well-known for occupying one of the worlds’ largest digital asset exchange platforms, called Huobi Global. Ever since the start of 2018, Huobi is accelerating their global expansion plan with the addition of new products and services. One of those products is the multi-chain Huobi Wallet.
Huobi Wallet offers a safe, fast and efficient option for users to store their digital assets and at the same time retain access to their funds at all times. Users have full access to their wallet because they are the only ones holding the private keys to their wallet. Over the past months, Huobi Wallet has seen a surge in new users because it has been adding support for popular cryptocurrencies and tokens.
EOS
Recently Huobi’s VP Livio Weng, stated ‘EOS is among the most important delegated Proof-of-Stake (DPoS) currencies so it was a natural choice for us to include it’, talking about the addition of EOS to the array of cryptocurrencies that are being supported by Huobi wallet.
EOS.io is a blockchain protocol and infrastructure that enables decentralized application (dApps) to run on their blockchain. EOS is powered by its native EOS token. EOS proclaims to be scalable, flexible and usable. EOS has seen an accelerated growth after launching their project with a year-long ICO phase. It has become one of the most popular cryptocurrencies.
Tron
After the addition of EOS, Huobi quickly announced it will be adding support for Tron (TRX). Tron aims to build a decentralized internet. Tron offers high-throughput, high-scalability and high-availability.
Huobi already stated it will be adding many other cryptocurrencies at an accelerated pace. Besides adding cryptocurrencies to their wallet, Huobi will also collaborate with dApp developers to offer its users more different products and services.
Future additions
Since the start of this year, Huobi Wallet added support for Bitcoin, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin and all ERC20 tokens. And just now they added EOS and Tron (TRX). I believe Huobi wallet can really benefit from adding cryptocurrencies and tokens that are not yet supported on regular hardware wallets like the Ledger Nano or the Tresor.
