DCC Discusses Tech and Innovation with Israeli and Chinese Embassies

On July 31, the DCC team attended a reception hosted by the Embassies of Israel and China in Washington D.C., USA. With a focus on technology, innovation and China-Israel collaboration, the event brought together representatives from tech companies based in China, Israel and the U.S. to explore ways to work together.

Israel and China are both known for the growth and advancement of new technology, as well as fostering innovative markets with immense talent. We had a great evening networking with tech leaders from both countries, and we look forward to working with them on our mission to achieve global inclusive finance.

DCC at BlockchainAwakens Hackathon in Silicon Valley

On August 4 and 5, DCC attended BlockchainAwakens Hackathon Summer 2018, joined by representatives from leading tech companies such as Google, Facebook and Linkedin.

With the aim of encouraging tech professionals to explore innovative solutions with blockchain technology, the hackathon is hosted by the ABC Blockchain Community, an organization formed by a group of Google engineers, which has blossomed into researchers, investors, entrepreneurs, and blockchain enthusiasts focused on collaborating on future blockchain projects in Silicon Valley.

On-site, Mr. Alan Wang, co-founder of DCC, spoke with media outlets CoinTime and BlockTrain, about DCC’s roadmap and latest progress.

Judges of this hackathon included many influential industry figures including:

Whitfield Diffie, pioneer of public-key cryptography

Prof. Shousheng Zhang from Stanford University

Prof. Xiaodong Song from UC Berkeley

In addition, representatives from renowned venture capital firms and incubators also participated in the event, including Binance Labs, DHVC, Genesis Capital and Draper Dragon.

DCC Opens Vietnam Office

We’re thrilled to announce that on July 30, we opened a new office in Hanoi, Vietnam! The DCC family is growing with experts in marketing, translation, design and human resources, and fully equipped to embrace the Vietnamese blockchain community, establish partnerships with local companies, and raise the profile of of DCC in the Southeast Asian market.

Tech Developments

We’re developing the IPFS-based framework for personal data management. It will allow users to store and obtain encrypted data on IPFS networks.

The inter-chain transaction function is now available on BitExpress.

BitExpress is now constructing its IPFS framework and will launch it in an update in two weeks.

We’re developing the cryptocurrency deposit functions on BitExpress, which will be available by the end of August. The expected interest rate will range from 10%-15%.

We’re connecting our database with service providers in Indonesia.

We’re also connecting with a Chinese loan service platform and will launch new loan services based on the DCC network.
