Edgeless aims for US market with social gaming platform Hotheads.io

After months of preparations, today the blockchain company Edgeless releases a beta version of the social gaming platform Hotheads.io. The product will help Edgeless to reach new markets such as the US and many more.

“Up until now, certain markets were closed for us, as gambling is strictly regulated there. While we are exploring licensing possibilities, currently we cannot offer our gambling product to the US. This is why we have decided to jump into this market with social gaming. Furthermore, social gaming is growing rapidly worldwide and we see considerable growth opportunities,” says Tomas Draksas, Edgeless’ co-founder.

The new platform offers fun and attractive social games where people can compete for their rank. It is based on Edgeless’ blockchain ‘smart-contract’ system which provides transparency for the entire platform and for customers.

Currently, people will be able to try out two games, “Save the rocket” and “Flying sausage”, with more games coming in the next few months.

Such developments will provide an extra utility for the Edgeless (EDG) token, which will be necessary for all user activities on Hotheads.io.

Edgeless took the decision to enter the social gaming market after consulting with iGaming professionals. In the nearest future the company will focus on developing new games for the casino platform and improving the Hotheads brand. This is why we have temporarily set aside our plans to enter the sports betting market. Soon we will announce an updated roadmap with more detailed information about the forthcoming sports betting and other games.
