Blockchain is actually nothing new, it found its first mention in 1983, when todays internet, as we know it, didn’t exist. Since then the basic idea of blockchain was further developed till its major first breakthrough with Bitcoin in 2008. The following is a chronological list of the main actors and their important contributions to the current state of Blockchain technology.
