Hi, I'm extradext. And you're experiencing the popping of my proverbial steemit cherry.
We all know travel is a massive part of the world economy. A part that is continually expanding at an accelerated pace, even with so many obstacles keeping it weighed down. Those obstacles, are mostly unavoidable due to the complexity and volatility in the world economy. Which is understandable due to having so many sovereign interests from so many foreign countries. And even though blockchain technology is already capable of eliminating some problems associated with travel. More specifically, world travel, and crossing borders. At least in theory. Or by proxy. They still fail to address a broader range of issues, that should be fixed all together, in one seamless system. Such as scaling, exchange, accessibility, security, stability, adaptability, trust, public relations, and anonymity. And that is where BitAir comes into play.
This new company is organized and has roots planted in many already established travel companies worldwide. BitAir is here targeting a very large, very complicated, and quite specific niche. Not necessarily looking towards the same, broader goals, that many others in the cryptosphere tend to share. Which can pretty vague, (but still valuable). Even with some of the more popular organizations. Making Bit Air seem pretty unique being built around such a wide focal point. Promising an easier and safer system for airlines, as well as their clients. Having a niche this big can create its own gravity causing it to expand. Which is to be expected when there is a void to be filled that can provide so much value. Such as the coins being used in local hotels and by other merchants in its vicinity. Which makes for an interesting platform to keep an eye on.
The token offering is currently underway and there is a long way to go for this platform. But A betting man uses due diligence to research and speculate before placing his bet. I have done mine today.
Imagine the dollar as an altcoin: Centralized. No market cap. Only has perceived value that is derived from debt. Contracts come from outside the system, and are extremely complicated. Most transactions carry large fees and taxes. - It screams scam.

Updates will follow accordingly.
I just came across your post and really enjoyed it. Thanks (UPV&FOL) :)
Update- Bitair is likely a scam but that is still to be determined. I would advise against any purchasing of this token. -Extradext
