Steemit, A New 3DC blockchain around the way!!
Like father like son, Colin Cantrell (founder of Nexus), and his father Jim Cantrell (CEO of Vector Space Systems). Soon to drop the New 3DC Blockchain platform.
Jim Cantrell is best known for helping Mogle and founder of SpaceX "Elon Musk." Jim Cantrell was asked to serve as the big dawg Vice President of Business Development.
FACTS:
• This platform claims to process 100,000 transactions per second on-chain
• It's Quantum resistance with its 1024 bit hash
• Full 571bit security: this makes Nexus twice as secure as Bitcoin
• Proof-of-work (PoW) and Proof-of-stake hybrid (PoS)
• With 3D blockchain, makes it 51% attack effectively impossible
This could very well be the biggest game-changer the monetary system will ever see. What is Nexus?
If you look up "Nexus" Its a connection or series of connections linking two or more things, "Or a connected group of series", or a nexus of ideas, a central and most important point or place. So how can something in space be decentralized?
Who owns and operates the future satellite links? If these links aren't owned by general users then they must be centralized points of contention. How will the satellites be accessible to the general network, and most importantly, how will this platform not be exploited?
At the core, This is similar to Satoshi Nakamoto's vision, decentralized, peer to peer electronic monetary solution. We all know that Nakamoto's vision was to give the world access to a electronic cash system that cannot be controlled, influenced or compromised by anyone. If you're not already up to speed this is what led to the birth of Bitcoin.
Nexus is taking the same concept and shooting it to the moon, with a new decentralized outlook, with superior scalability, speed, security, with all the horns and whistles. A hybrid Bitcoin per say.

Hey @gooeypixel, the markets are pretty crazy right now. Crypto is back to a weird space but I know long term it's still what we're all hoping it will be! Cheers
It definitely is, And with a ton of speculations coming from mainstream media that cryptocurrency is a hoax, or scam, this should stir up the chit chat a bit.
Hi @gooeypixel
Thank you for mentioning us. Can you please link back to the original source instead of the Medium article which is just a report: https://londonletter.org/nexus/
Thank you

I wish I could but after a certain amount of days the blockchain will not allow editing. Sorry about that.
