Spanish ruling party proposes to use Blockchain in the administration of the country

133 deputies of the Spanish ruling party, the Popular Party, have proposed a bill to use blockchain in the public administration of Spain, inform CriptoNews on Saturday, June 30.

The bill was presented to the Spanish Congress on June 22 and published on the official website of the legislative branch on June 26. It has not yet been reviewed by other deputies. The Congress website has not provided more information on the details of the bill so far.

As informed Cointelegraph in February, the Popular Party considered granting tax exemptions to companies that use technology Blockchain . The relevant legislation was ready to be finalized before the end of the year.

In March, another Spanish party, Citizens, offered establish clear rules for agents who work with cryptocurrencies and have them provide the necessary information to the Spanish tax office.

Later, in March, another important party, the PSOE, proposed a motion to study how cryptocurrencies are regulated in other countries.
