RE: Welcome to the Sausage-Fest!

You make valid points in the underrepresentation of women on DTube, but in saying that you also open up a new whole argument of many minorities not being represented (and you also acknowledge only 2 genders in this video).

I know it's not your intention but the vlog does come off as misandrous. Plus you assume men are only into crypto/beards/arnarchy etc.

The model does need to change but convincing someone to come onto dtube and make videos because of their gender rather than if they want to make videos is a tough ask. As always, appreciate your strong thoughts :)

I feel like I could build a scarecrow out of all of these straw man arguments.

I wasn't aware there was a community of lgbtq people who produce high quality videos daily on dtube and are dissatisfied because they aren't regularly upvoted. If you could point me to that group I would be more than happy to help them get seen too.

For now, I am championing for the sex I identify with, and telling me I am wrong for not representing everyone is the worst kind of strawman. Srsly.

I don't think it's misandrous to point out the obvious. If you get offended, that's not on me. Women are being underrepresented for content that is as good as the men. Just a short while after releasing this video, about 12 women got upvotes, and their content was all good. They upload daily, and had been missed for ages. Why does it take someone having to shout from the rooftops to get women heard?

I only assume men are into those things because it is what gets upvoted, and with the majority of this platform being men, and curators swearing that they are upvoting the best content for its consumers, one can only conjecture then that men are only into videos about that stuff.

From the reaction to this video, men certainly aren't into women voicing their opinions.

I guess when you throw in that divide it does add pressure on Dtube. Same with that anti-darlings movement. Either way, glad to see it worked :)

Don't know any LGBTQI groups on here, but that's because I haven't delved into it. It's cool how you are slowly exposing the ones who feel threatened. Steem On!
