I'm also pretty excited about both Steem/Steemit and ICONOMI. I'm a little let down (though not surprised) that the ICONOMI funds won't be available to investors from the U.S. for the time being, but I'm hoping the incoming government can work with the digital assets community to further out progress within our upside-down legal framework. I also have a lot of hope for Steemit, but I think the basic mechanics of the site still need a bit of work before it can really take off. I find the current feed/stream setup to be frustrating to browse through. It's not that bad right now, but with a lot more users it would get out of hand very quickly.

Oh easily get out of hand, even at 2-3x.. lol. Did you get into the ico?

Yeah, I did. It's been a bit of a ride so far, but I plan on holding for as long as possible.

This is revolutionary!

Sure hope so :) Just saw your account btw - welcome to Steemit! Hope your stay has been good.

It has ! Just started about 2weeks now and decided to do the traditional intro lol.
It has been a fun experience thus far :)

This is super interesting man, thanks for the heads up! It looks like it doesn't work in the USA yet but I'll be keeping an eye out for it. Cheers to an exciting and innovative 2017!

Yeah I've just read that disclaimer too - wonder what's up with that! Pretty sure they're going to come up with a solution.. USA is not a very small, crypto-illiterate market after all..

"in a realm beyond calories"
I don't get it. typo ? autocorrector ?

Ah just one of my quirks writing. Carats and calories. Wants and needs lol

ok:) thx for the explanation!

Two exciting Cryptos!! 2017 is going to be an exciting year.

like the concept of ICONOMI @kevinwong let's see how that work with steemit

I'm currently trying to have a discussion with the folks over in The Venus Project, and there's a chance that I'll be the one managing their account here if they do not have enough human resources.

lol they don't.

Upvoted! Let's collaborate on this together @kevinwong. I've been following TVP for some time now & have even pleaded for a decentralized network built worldwide that would scale with continual resource contribution & efficient management in building sustainable equity.

I'll reach out on steemit.chat

you must be wondering why I'm suggesting a cryptocurrency-based, community-voting social platform for a project that has set its sights in putting an end to the concept of money and politics?

No problem here - voting is not really politics, cryptocurrency is not really money. What I mean is that as long as we live in tribes, groups and families there are going to be decisions to make that affect all members of the group. This is management, not politics, and management is just... the way we agree on stuff. Which is what politics completely fails to be. Cryptocurrency is, similarly, what "real" money fails to be.
