REMME- TAKING YOUR SECURITY TO THE NEXT LEVEL WITH BLOCKCHAIN

Passwords are strings of character used for authentication to prove identity or access approval to gain access to a resource which is to be kept secret. It’s crucial to pick strong passwords that are different for each of your important accounts and update your passwords regularly. Password is the main method of accessing various local and network resources for security reasons in this modern era.

However, it has one serious drawback whereby an attacker gets access to all the data of the user who owned this password. Hence, passwords cannot serve as sufficient instruments for protecting user data and guarantee the security of the user session but do not worry. PECULIARITY OF REMME

The peculiarity of the REMME project is its two-factor authentication is an additional layer of security ensuring that only the owner of the account can access it, even if the private SSL/TLS certificate key has been compromised.

The choice of technology for the second factor depends on the characteristics of the system, which is protected by REMME technology. REMME will use the blockchain technology as a vehicle of transportation and a source of consensus to offer a solution to this problem: decentralization.

REMME is bringing blockchain to PKI infrastructure providing immutability of data stored there. For a simple user, it could look complicated, but all is simple: you don’t need to remember count of login and passwords, you don’t need to pay five or ten authorities for certificates used in tax, legal, bank, technical or other types of software, you don’t need to control the live time of each password/certificate. It is as simple as that with Remme.

AIM OF REMME

The aim of the REMME high-end secure system is to help organizations like infrastructure companies, IoT, medtech, financial and blockchain companies protect sensitive data.

The problem here was that there was low level of security and users also had issues concerning the implementation of decentralized public key.
