Blockchains, blockchains, blockchains... Almost everywhere any minute machines solve complex algorithms in a growing blockchain network. All that computing power are used for security of the system, but is it an only purpose of such endless growing computing race?
Let's start from the begining. Blockchain tech was born in 2008 based on started at 1991-1992 blockchain experiments. Blockchain Tech started grow quickly pas 10 years and made a lot of new capital markets, so fast. Also it was time and it's time than humankind or some groups of people and corporations began to need huge computing power for going forward. Large Hadron Collider, Artificial Intelligence, Space programs and many other projects and production sites with extremely large (and growing) computing load.
We (humans) look deep in the space, send machines and (over time) humans far away from our home planet, we trying to find creation of matter secret inside atoms, we building living machines, we do it all right now. We need more and more computing power to feed all this directions of development.
And now here comes technology that can combine all machines in the world. What if our machines solve all this algorithms not only for system security, what if all this algorithms have a real use in scientific field. Also it makes new markets - new source of income. This is much better than pay for computing power in dollars, using contracts, taxes and so on :) Brilliant.
The world supercomputer is ready and it's computing power grow every day.
We all solving dozens of algorithms every day for the greater good, not just for money or security purposes.
