Earlyer today I saw a post that says that Steemit has 10 million prize pool.
hours later I saw another post stating that the first one is an scam.
First of all I really doub that there is a 10 million prize pool. and I dont think there is any scam behind the post or the guy who created the post I am not gonna tell his name.
but what I am really sure of: is that probably that is a marketing technic to call steemers attention so he can get upvotes as well as followers. just like I did whit the tittle of this post (just to prove my point, I am not used to do that)
if you think about it, is the most logical thinking, and he is not the first person using that technic. in youtube there are so many bloggers that keeps doing that with fancy titles and screen captions that you will never see in one of their videos.
any how until you dont see any official anouncement from steemit just disregard whatever people keeps posting just to call attention.

The prize pool is outlined in the whitepaper and has had some upgrades. According to the whitepaper, steem will inflate 100% over a year. So next year it will be 233 mill x2 if my understanding of it is correct.
