BUGLAB – Cybersecurity Service for Businesses on Ethereum Blockchain

Introduction
BUGLAB is an Ethereum based blockchain platform which connects companies to the global network of expert cybersecurity researchers. This ecosystem has two programs – The Buglab Contest and Vigilante Protocol where in Contest, they link clients with global network of certified cybersecurity penetration testers by providing incentives to them. In Vigilante Protocol, they provide an avenue for whitehats to share their own vulnerabilities discoveries. They also connected with CERT (Computer Emergency Response Team) and CSIRT (Computer Security Incident Response Team) to verify the discoveries and notify companies at risk.
This platform is for SMEs, Pentesters and Whitehats where small and medium businesses is looking for more effective way of protecting their digital assets and on the other side Pentesters & Whitehats is helping those businesses worldwide and get compensated.

Problem
The main problem is a traditional cybersecurity market where penetration testing and bug bounties are available, but they are very costly where companies do not get the most of out of their spending on the billable hours in pentesting. Lack of resources is available where cybersecurity market assigns a few pentesters to each assignment, but they are not highly qualified pentesters. There is irrelevancy in reporting where during bug bounties, researchers uncover large amounts of accountability without doing in-depth analysis.

Solution with their features
Buglab is come up with the solution to connect companies to the global network of expert cybersecurity researchers. By providing incentivized environment, pentesters are rewarded for solving system vulnerabilities in a short period of time.

Public Contest – In this, when company shared their provided information and launched the contest, the community receives a public invitation to participate.
Private Contest – For completion of challenge or a task, clients also have the option to choose a select number of pentesters or authorised team from the cybersecurity community.
Selection Filters – Clients have option of selecting pentesters as per the filteration which includes country, score, skillset etc.
Leaderboard – Also providing dashboard with ranking system of pentesters which is based on their experience and results on the platform. This helps the clients to find best pentesters for their task and make them easier to choose participants for a private challenge.
Mediation – When clients opt to manage their challenge by themselves then pentester from the community ask for mediation from Buglab Team. They get details regarding the cause of the disagreement and evaluate it accordingly.
Other side, on providing Vigilante Protocol, they allow whitehat researchers to report on system vulnerabilities of a company. They invite companies to reward the whitehats in the form of optional tips when they completed the challenges.

Alexander Belokon – Backend Developer – Alexander is a developer with broad experience ranging from banking to pharmaceuticals. Living and breathing code for more than 15 years, he enjoys building highly performant and resilient backends.
Youness Aamiri – Blockchain Developer – He’s having experience in HTML, PHP and CSS. Also having expertise in building a blockchain ecosystem to reshape pentesting.

The Social Media hype is good, and they are very much active on their Telegram Group.
There are 8 core members in the team who are having experience in marketing, software & IT, coding. But they are lacking having experience in blockchain technology. They have only one advisor on board who is having 28 years of experience in IT & software industry.
The Website is explained in detail and very well structures. The Whitepaper is also explained in detail which is easy to understand.
The Roadmap is provided till the end of 2018, where pre-sale is about to start on 30th June 2018 and public sale will be announced and its public beta release in Q3 2018. The MVP is not published yet they are about to release after the main token sale.
