Any app can launch branded tokens on open scalable side-chains, powered by Simple Token, a protocol for consumer-app tokenization and an ERC-20 utility token.
Since it can be so hard sometimes to find all information about a blockchain company launch, we've compiled here the most important information about Simple Token, combining information about the company, the team, and the token sale from different sources, including some new information.
What
A suite of technologies that developers can easily integrate into their apps to design, launch, and manage their own branded tokens powered by Simple Token, a protocol and an ERC-20 utility token.
Why
Blockchain technologies hold tremendous promise for a new generation of consumer Internet services, but blockchain is currently too complex for most consumer apps, too daunting for consumer-facing developers, and not currently scalable to millions of end-user micro-transactions without public-private chain innovations.
Features
Token design; identity management; user-friendly wallets; support for in-app transactions such as incentives & rewards, P2P, B2C, API’s, B2B; rights management; public ledgers; administration tools for monitoring, fraud prevention, analytics and reporting; interoperability with other Ethereum-based technologies.
Solutions
We are exploring price stability smart-contract mechanisms and pay-as-you-go programs designed to make it easy for consumer marketplaces to use Simple Token.
Developers
We aim to foster an ecosystem that will take the lead and develop Simple Token protocols on behalf of the community. Developers will be encouraged to contribute to the Simple Token project and can earn Simple Tokens for their contributions.
Team
From the consumer-Internet technology team behind Pepo, Hem, Fab, and Social Median; the lead developer of Hyperledger Burrow (Monax); and the Blockchain technology team Enuma (prior work on EOS & OpenANX).
- Jason Goldberg, Director & CEO Simple Token - CEO of Pepo, formerly of Fab, Hem, Social Median
- Nishith Shah, Director & COO Simple Token - Formerly of Hem, Fab, Social Median
- Ben Bollen, Chief Technology Strategist - Formerly of Monax, Hyperledger Burrow, Maidsafe
Roadmap
- Publication of the OpenST Protocol: 2 October 2017
- The following V1 Implementation of the OpenST Platform published on GitHub: 7 November 2017.
- Member Company can create branded tokens on a sidechain (Ethereum with Proof of Authority) by staking ST on public Ethereum in a cryptographically auditable way
- Key Management
- Pessimistic Concurrency Control
- Proof of Deployment of V1 of the OpenST Platform for the Pepo App: 7 November, 2017
- Release of first 3rd-party developed tools for ST-to-BT administration and management: Q1 2018.
Token Sale
Simple Token is not an investment opportunity, but rather a new product in which people can get involved. People should buy Simple Tokens if they want to participate in the Simple Token ecosystem – not for any other purpose.
Simple Token’s token sale funds will be used for the development of the protocol, prototypes and proof-of-concepts, marketing, strategic partnership developments, operations, legal, security and administrative expenses.
- Start date: November 14, 2017
- Total token supply: 800,000,000
- $30M target sale. $40M hard cap. 30% represents the hard cap.
- Pre-sale underway as of 5 September, 2017, $200K minimum for pre-sale.

Very encouraged about Simple Token. I have a side project for which Simple Token may be a great fit. Will be following and likely in touch via other channels in the future.
That's great to hear! Please e-mail us at [email protected] and we can talk about getting you on board!
