As I promised in the previous post about this project, here we will consider the main members of the UseChain team. This team is really very big and worthy of attention each of them, but, nevertheless, I will highlight here those who especially deserve to be read and recognized about them, so let's go!
The most public of all and widely known blockchain enthusiasts and not only, of course, is the founder and CEO Dr. Henry Cao, so we will give him a little more attention.
Henry CAO: Founder and CEO of Usechain, 14 years old is a professor in finance and head of the department of higher business school in Cheng Kong city in China. He defended his Ph.D. in finance in 1995 at the University of California Los Angeles and completed his postgraduate course in pathology at Yale University in 1991.
He taught at the University of California at Berkeley, UCSD, Ohio State University, Carnegie Mellon and UNC Chapel Hill.
His research in the field of finance was published by such journals as: "Journal of Finance", "Review of Financial Studies", "Journal of Financial Economics", "Journal of Economic Theory", "Journal of Business", "Review of Finance and Marketing Science ". He is also co-editor in the magazine "International Financial Review" and is in the staff of editors of such magazines as "Annals of Economic and Finance" and "China Financial Review" in China.
That is, based on the above achievements of Dr. Kao, I can well imagine that in the field of management, finance and marketing, this person has a lot of invaluable experience and connections, which is also very important. With his own words, Henry Kao believes that the blockade in the future can truly change the whole financial world for the better and he is completely ready for it. But in terms of technical implementation of the project, in my opinion, he needs an equally strong and experienced technical director and a blockchain specialist, and such people are also on board this ship.
Professor Zhang Shengli (Zhang Shengli): Professor Zhang is the Chief Scientist and at the same time is Deputy Director of the Research Institute SZU Blockchain. In 2002 and 2005, he received a bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) respectively. In 2008, he received his Ph.D. in Chinese University of Hong Kong, and in 2014-2015 he attended Stanford University as a visiting professor.
Also, Zhang Shengli is an expert in the field of blocking and in 2006 he presented his research on "Coding the network level" at the International Conference Mobicom, which is a very discussed topic in expert circles.
In addition, Professor Zhang is a first-class technologist with extensive experience and knowledge in the field of wireless networks, as well as a senior member of the IEEE and China Electronics Society, owns three national patents for inventions of blockade technologies, USTC BS & MS, CHUK Phd.
Baohong SUN (Baohan-san): the head of the security department and co-founder in UseChain. Head of the Department of Marketing in CKGSB Americas. Professor in Marketing at Carnegie Mellon University, also received a Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Southern California in 1997.
Main areas of work and competencies: Big Data marketing, consumer behavior research, customer relationship management, digital branding and marketing, dynamic structural models and interactive marketing mix, electronic and social commerce and pricing strategies.
Andy ZHOU (Andy Zhu): Technical Director at Usechain Technology Asia Foundation Ltd. Prior to this, he held the same position for about six months at Beijing United Electronics Co., Ltd. He has more than 10 years of experience in technical development of various projects, a serial entrepreneur specializing in complex technical solutions. Has deep knowledge in the field of large data, Artificial Intelligence, distributed networks and technical architecture and design. He acted as a senior engineer for research and development at Beijing United Electronics Co. and ChuKong Tech. With the technology, the block was first encountered in 2015 and has proven successful experience in this field. Has a double bachelor's degree from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) and MS from the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
Feng Zhang (Zhang Feng): Senior Financial Officer of Usechain Technology Asia Foundation Ltd. Expert of Thousands of Talents, almost 30 years of experience in QIHF worldwide, MD of Citigroup / Morgan Stanley Asset Management, GM of Bosera Investment Fund, investment director of BoCom-Schroders Foundation, Tsinghua BS, UC Irvine, PhD. He graduated from the University of California.
And of course, without fail we need to understand who will manage the marketing in this project, because whatever one may say, good marketing, along with a quality product, are key components of the project's success.
Amanda Shen (Amanda Shen): Amanda is the top marketing and PR manager in Usechain Technology Asia Foundation Ltd. Prior to that, she successfully graduated from the Cheng Kong Higher Business School, where the department is headed by the general director of this project. Most likely, Amanda was one of the most outstanding students, if Dr. Kao noticed her and took under his wing, but these are only my guesses. Also, Amanda has already had a solid background in this field and worked for such companies as FedEx for the position of Strategic Marketing Manager (4 years and 4 months of experience) and Beijing Xinrongjunyue Real EstateConsulting LTD. for the post of general director for marketing and PR (work experience 3 years and 7 months). Amanda also closely monitors the marketing of programs and their implementation from current competitors and not only,
So, in order to sum up all the above, I will say this in a nutshell, the given team, especially its technical and management part, really impressed me and I believe that they together can make a lot of noise around themselves in the future and bring to the world a really high-quality and useful product. But, in fact, I still have a lot of questions about marketing the project. I believe that at this stage there is a lack of transparency and many incomprehensible nuances for which the team probably has no time, but still. I also think that many significant events are poorly covered, often not reaching the target audience, which in turn can affect the success of the project's token. But there is still time, for today the project has only preliminary sales, in which almost everything from 30 ETH through the LeekICO platform can participate, I'll leave the link below.
Also, this August we are waiting for the stage of public sales of project tokens. General information and metrics of the token can be found here .
