Blockchain is a done deal. Cryptocurrency is a done deal. Both are going to completely revolutionize how the world operates.
Game Over.
Whatever the mainstream media is showcasing to spread their FUD and scare everyone about cryptocurrency amounts to nothing. In the grand scheme of things, it is akin to pointing out an email server being down. It is nothing.
One needs to get a glimpse into the future to realize what is truly taking place.
Here is an example I came across.
Ford was awarded a patent "Vehicle-to-vehicle cooperation to marshal traffic". Under this idea, traffic flow would be managed by having the vehicles communication coordinate speeds.
Here is some of what was on the application....
"This system would temporarily allow for particular cooperative vehicles (sometimes referred to as 'consumer vehicles') to drive at higher speeds in less-occupied lanes of traffic and also to merge and pass freely when needed. Other participating cooperative vehicles (sometimes referred to as 'merchant vehicles') voluntarily occupy slower lanes of traffic to [allow] the consumer vehicle to merge into their lanes and pass as needed."
To take it one step further, the application also included the idea of developing a new token to be used for payment between the vehicles. Called CMMP, this would allow the consumer and merchant vehicles to pay each other .
"For example, a driver of a consumer vehicle which is running late for an appointment may request to pass any participating merchant vehicles for a duration of 10 minutes on a particular road or highway for 60 CMMP tokens, at a rate of 10 seconds preferential access per token."

Naturally, this is a patent that was granted so we will have to see if an idea like this ever comes to pass.
The reason I bring it up is to illustrate the stuff that is being worked on out there. We see the FUD the media spreads about Facebook banning crypto advertising and the markets tank. When looking at the bigger picture, it is no big deal. Even LitePay going down is nothing but a step in the process. There are going to be failures along the way.
One analogy I agree with is that we are around 1993 with the Internet. Email was just introduced and is being used on a small scale. We are still years away from mass implementation. After that, we will see the penetration of the medium while still basic in design. Over time, the emergence of Internet 2.0 will arrive with the advent of social media.
The Ford project is just an example of some of the possibilities that are out there. Remember, cryptocurrency is only an application on blockchain, the same as email. There will be many other applications that come along over the next decade, ones that make cryptocurrency look like rudimentary stuff.
I will also tell you, the situation with Ford is not an isolated case. There are thousands of companies working on all kinds of different things. Just today I read about Quantum Medical Transport teaming up with Oracle to build a HIPPA compliant medical blockchain.
Naturally, it is centralized yet that is simply a phase we are going to have to process through. The large corporations are going to set up their "blockchains", something they can control which will move the entire industry forward. Over time, they will continue to experience hacks and data breaches until individuals and organizations realize that the decentralized blockchains are the ones that provide the security.
Sometimes a little stroll into the world of "what if" is helpful to get passed the general FUD that is being served up each day.
To buy into FUD about cryptocurrencies and blockchain is to engage in delusion.
That is something that is best not to do.

Nerd checking in. Email was introduced in the early seventies. I was using it by the mid eighties. The web started in ’91 and really started taking off in ’92 or ’93.
No one likes a know-it-all.
JK it's actually pretty interesting that email has been around that long.
I’ve probably asked you before, but... would your write an article about that?
I like know it alls 😂😂😂
I've been thinking about coordinated traffic patterns for years, but I never thought of adding blockchain to the mix. Being able to get paid to let someone pass you sounds like something straight out of a science fiction novel. Could you imagine someone trying to exploit the system by driving around at peak times just to get paid to move out of the way? The next 5-10 years are going to be so weird.
Nice article thanks for sharing, great article. I've smashed the upvote button for you!
Sadly because it is such a volatile market, news is able to damage the price dramatically, this will change as more and more people adopt crypto.
If you are looking to get hold of some crypto without investing or mining, look into https://www.crowdholding.com. They are a co-creation platform were you get rewarded for giving feedback to crypto startups on the platform. You can earn Crowdholding's token as well as DeepOnion, ITT, Smartcash and many other ERC-20 tokens.
The tech can't be stopped because people. corporation and entities will find a way to make use of it to be able to store data, make data more secure, share and access data anywhere and with security to boot and do almost anything imaginable.
When the internet started it was just a bunch of people communicating and sharing files but now it has so many uses that we can't imagine the time before it.
Don't give in the FUD just stay the course and let tech be absorbed by the masses.
We are on the same page considering blockchain, and mostly on the same page regarding crypto. But for the last one not completely. I do forsee a lot of bockchain with 10 years without any cryptocurrency attached to it!
And while the pattent that Ford took is a great idea, this idea could be implemented without a blockchain and without cryptocurrency for sure!
The middle men at the moment see their reasons for existence vaporize. We see, based on all the FUD, that they wont go down without a fight!
They probably have lost the battle against the blockchain technology already, so they will increase the battl against the cryptos. Probably they want to enforce a hybrid blockchain where the payments, if needed, will go through their business. Wouldn’t be surprised if such a business model pops up this year!
Any ideas about this?
I would agree with that...they arent going easy and they are going to do what they can to control it....
That is why we are going to see a backlash.

dezentralisation matters 👍 👍 👍
waooo.this is so amazing
That's great. Nice post
Last year as each year before was testing... my belief is that they are now ready for deployment of systems as well as mass adoption. Great supporting evidence is everywhere, yet few look for it. The numbers of a dying paradigm matter not.
Interesting @taskmaster4450
I have written a few posts on the FUD being slung around. It is the #warofthecurrencies and it's inevitable, crypto will come out on top! The fiat system imprinted on us is however not an easy bug to squash.
Well said .
