As soon as I thought about writing this post, the image that hit me was of a couple of cryptocurrencies.
Im not going to drag this post and in the end B.S you by giving you a TL;DR(on a later post on why I think TL;DR is B.S)
The truth is I don't know, as much as you and the fact that I can conjure up images of crypto hard-on after the slight mention of anything related to blockchain says a lot about me (also you).
So why don't we start by asking more educated questions rather than hyping the monster that is the blockchain.
Now Blockchain is a Dragon which is guarding the crypto treasure, but it's not a mythical dragon it's like a Dragon in "How to train my dragon"( awful analogy, I know). Then there are a lot of dragons and it's not like they are not dangerous, they are incredibly useful.
The most important takeaways from the boom of cryptos or dragons are
- They will create a new world of trade and commerce
- There won't be a need for the middleman(Banks)
- Trust will be digitally guaranteed and many more..
So getting back to the question at hand" How to make steemit better?"
Make it all about blockchain, make it a kind of exclusive platform where people only write about blockchain and the cryptocurrency. Why?
To avoid the masses, making it exclusive .
As soon as you do this, people will have a general perception of something being authentic or valuable(in fact this is how you create value,)
But now there are a lot of people using this platform to get upvotes and its understandable . But if you want to make steemit a better place, join in the conversation and comment on what you think. Also upvote(just a tinge of hypocrisy :-)
