With the invention of the Smart Contract almost everything with value, even your genes and identity, can be tokenized. A pre-given set of requirements (rules and penalties) where in return you get your rewarded peer-to-peer (no middleman), verified and safely stored in the blockchain and irreversible.
My favorite blockchain ideas mostly involve those creating a better world:
- Peer-to-peer eco friendly energy sharing
- Easy access to money and peer-to-peer lending
- Fake-news free websites
- Health-care, where patients have ownership of their data and decide what to share to whom
- Track of product origin
- Track of costs, so that I am sure no child labour is involved and everyone in the Supply Chain gets its fair share
- Ecosystems where all players get benefits from for e.g. Learning: Students, Teachers and Companies
- Crowdfunding in the Blockchain
- ...
I personally hope there will be a solution one day where people with little money get access to basic necessities, where I as a peer supports person X, each month with Y value, only to spend on basic necessities at company Z. I only have to give person X a low cost identifier, with which he can identify himself. So if there is some techie out there to built this solution it would be great.
