Finnish dairy company called Arla (belongs to multinational Arla foods) announced its blockchain project on Single estate organic milk. The project is called Arla milkchain and it is already operating! There everyone can see for example, where did this organic milk come from, how long it was in transportation and the actual temperature where it was held during the process.
This is great movement towards the mass adoption and real-life use cases. The only problem I can figure now, is that it appears to be closed blockchain, so there is actually possibility for changing the data since they have full access to it.. Anyway, it is nice opening act in this field, and according to the raport, they will continue improving and adding other products to blockchain too.
Here is link to english article about this, https://www.arla.fi/artikkelit/arla-milkchain--the-blockchain-for-more-transparent-milk-production/
Hope you enjoy the news as well,
Br Toni
