Before opening an account in the steem-pit, be aware that there is no way to remove your account, delete your blog posts or erase any trace that you were here posting, commenting or lurking
Information stored on-chain is, after all, forever, immutable with infinite TTL. But what about data stored off-chain? Shouldn't we users be given the opportunity to wipe our off chain storage? What say you fellow steemers.
Depending upon your point of view this may or may not be a showstopper.So while we can post with relative anonymity - we're just addresses on a blockchain - be aware that any reference to personal, identifying information can't be wiped. Or disguised. You can be traced.
