March 23, 2018. Ministry of Science and Technology coordinated with Ministry of Information and Communications, Ministry of Finance, The State Bank of Viet Nam, Viet Nam Social Insurance, and Information Technology experts on VeriME’s Blockchain based solutions.
To execute the Prime Minister’s commands to receive and handle enterprises’ proposals on Vietnam Government Web Portal and Resolution 35/NQ-CP (16/5/2016) of Government on the assistance and expansion of enterprises by 2020, the Ministry of Science and Technology coordinated with Ministry of Information and Communications, Ministry of Finance, The State Bank of Vietnam, Vietnam Social Insurance, and Information Technology experts held meeting on 23 March, to handle the proposal from NextTech Group of Technopreneurs on the deployment of VeriME’s “Verification As a Service” [VaaS] products across various government and private sectors for customer onboarding and identity verification purposes.
The announcement came shortly after VeriME partnered with Vietnam’s largest Toll Company, VietNam e-Toll Corporation [VETC], to enable VaaS services for 5+ million commuters!
All ears were on the NextTech’s representative as he shared VeriME’s blockchain based VaaS solutions, followed by the participants and IT experts who had a discussion about the legal framework and other technical solutions.
On the perspective of science and technology, the main product of the project is considered as the model of industrial revolution 4.0 of using modern technologies, mainly: Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Mobile Platform, Blockchain Technology.
At the end of the meeting, participants and IT experts highly appreciated the company’s initiative and as a next step a report to the Prime Minister’s Office will be sent to promulgate Legal framework and rapid adoption of VerME’s VaaS solutions.
