Introduction
30-Nov: The day Huobi Pro and Bitfinex will list $QASH. This will prove to be a watershed moment where $QASH will gain wide market exposure.
This has been a long awaited event for many Quoiners especially those who have invested since ICO in Early November 2017.
Since $QASH listing on Qryptos and Quoinex, we have seen increased users on these two platforms and this was reflected in increased volumes on the exchanges and activity in Quoine Telegram Group. There was also immense price action for $QASH as $QASH investors seek to make use of the leftover $ETH after the prorated $QASH distribution.
I will touch on the above points as best as I can given that I am currently on Holiday in Finland 🇫🇮. 😬
$QASH Post-ICO Price Analysis
$QASH : A 400% Gain against $ETH
$QASH has witnessed a huge growth in the build up to the public exchanges listing. It has reached a high of 0.0032 QASH/ETH as compared to ICO price of 0.0008 QASH/ETH. $ETH has also increased from an average of USD 300 to a present day rate of USD 500. That brings the profit to date to be approximately 5x. This is an approximate value because there was not much transactional volume higher than 5X.
The QASH/ETH is expected to peak with major exchanges listing $QASH. This will be the short term potential of $QASH. (Top 20 — Top 25 on CoinMarketcap).
I do not see anything substantial in the Roadmap till Q2 2018 until QUOINELiquid Platform officially launch.(Roadmap listed below). There is also a preview in Q1 for the world book. However I expect this to be a minimal beta as QUOINE technicals will be busy bug crushing the issues arising from the #ICO and the existing platforms. I will be elaborating further on this below.
My long term market cap target for $QASH would be TOP 10. This is due to the huge potential of having an master exchange of exchanges; And also not alot of westerners knows about $QASH or QUOINE yet. This is also what makes the oversubcription of $QASH #ICO amazing. (I believe there are alot of whales swimming in this $QASH ocean)
Note: There has been a recent 11k $BTC ATH rally event followed by a correction. This has also taken effect on $ETH, $QASH and other altcoins. This analysis does not take in account of this correction. However the QASH/ETH ratio has remained largely unchanged during the correction.
Short Term Challenges
- UI and UX Bugs and Enhancements
As the $QASH ICO was held on Qryptos, this has brought in a huge influx of investors/users into the platform. Quoine as well.
A few users were also not used to the level of customisation and flexibility and were used to exchange designs like Bittrex, Poloniex, etc.
The onboarding process on Quoinex and Qryptos platform needs to be improved to retain users.
This is how QUOINE can achieve this:
- $QASH trading pairs were not automatically enabled on the watchlist. This is should be the first DEFAULT PRIORITY setting. $QASH is QUOINE goto token of choice and Quoinex & Qryptos should be putting it on the front shelf.
- Quoinex currently have a mobile application. I understand Qryptos mobile app is in the works. This should be priorized.
- When a new user first access both platforms, they have a Classic Template and a Blank Template. The Classic template is fantastic for professional day traders running multiple wide screen monitors. Most of the users use laptop and tablets with the trend increasingly moving towards mobile workstations. There should be an option for sharing optimized templates for certain screen resolutions. I understand that this is currently available on a 1 to 1 basis. But it would be great if this is available like a user-featured template to everyone on the platform. Another way is to ask the users a few questions during their first login and intuitively customizing their template based on their answers. I know there have been some requests to make a simpler and easy to navigate UI. I do NOT believe this should be the way to go as this would detract important technical resources causing a delay in the Roadmap. Would any $QASH token holders want this?
There were also a few cases of server crashes and UI bugs (mostly fixed) that has impeded the UX (User Experience).
QUOINE is looking into structuring a bug bounty program that will enable the users to identify the bugs as well as a way to convey the status to users. This is currently handled thru their support system: Zendesk. Bugs and glitches are also escalated to the support team thru Telegram and there isn’t a organized way to log this issue although this can a fast way of ensuring this gets the message thru fast.
I recommend that they use Trello. Ledger Wallet currently have a public Trelloand they have quite a fair bit of user input and comments which I found to be very engaging and useful.
Feature-wise: Users will want everything under the sun but technical resources are limited. QUOINE need to work out Business Case and Prioritization and ultimately be aligned overall direction and whitepaper.
2. Lengthy Withdrawal Times
The huge surge of users joining Qryptos and Quoinex has caused additional stress on the support team especially for KYC verification as well manual process during ICO actions (prorating, refund, etc).
One thing which I didn’t mentioned in my $QASH ICO REVIEW was that the funds are stored in cold storage and it would take a manual process to withdraw the funds from the cold wallets. This is currently done on a daily basis with requests cutoff at 11am JST (Japan Standard Time) every business day. This will definitely take abit of time for the general users to adapt if they use external wallets and exchanges. However, I do not foresee this to be much of a problem should Liquid Platform becomes the master platform with cold wallet facility. This way the funds do not even need to leave the platform.
There has been a few suggestions on setting a limit for automated transaction and a certain daily automated limit for specified customers just like other exchanges. The management has so far conveyed that they are not looking into this but rather on increasing the frequency of the cut-off per day. This is also expected to include weekends.
This will mean a few more manual processes for their staff. Although I feel that there should be a way to reduce it. I do not foresee a perfect mix of a quick, economical and secured solution.
A Security focused approach is the utmost priority of QUOINE management. It will ultimately reap dividends as other exchanges stability are brought into questioning.
3. Bringing Volume to Quoinex & Qryptos Platform
The listing of $QASH didn’t bring as much volume into the platform as i would like initially with the volume stabilizing around 2–3M $QASH in daily transactions during the first few days in trading. This was also pretty much the case for other trading pairs that QUOINE has also listed. However recently, this volume for QASH/ETH trading pair has picked up due to hype surrounding the impending listing on major exchanges. This figure have gone up to 12M QASH daily. This is a good figure and we should see improvement upon introduction of more exchanges and ultimately with $QASH’S own blockchain introduction.
Reasons to be Vested and Positive
- Quoine Management Team are Relationship Builders
One personal key factor for considering an ICO is that the management team or leader needs to be reputable in the industry and be actively involved into contributing the society in media facing roles. Cryptocurrencies icons like Vitalik Buterin and Charlie Lee does it gracefully and it forms the perfect platform for Public Relations as well as making them to lead a role that is filled with accountability and transparency. This, on top of the charisma that Mike Kayamori embodies allow him to be very active in tradeshows and media interviews.
There is really no room for error in these media interviews and I have personally struck out a few leaders of cryptocurrencies due to lack of composure on Twitter or while facing the scrutiny of TV reporters who are not entirely convinced on blockchain technologies. You need to be quick on your feet and seriously mentally strong in front of obstacles.
Mike Kayamori and his management team are the opposite of this. They graced thru numerous #AMAs and are very active panelist speakers for recent fintech tradeshows. QUOINE management have proved to be very transparent during the ICO process and their addressing of the #AMA questions. Their messaging is simple “This is where we are. We have a wonderful road ahead and this is what we need to do to achieve it”. The level of inspiration really rubs of $QASH followers such as myself.

The influence that QUOINE management team has across the global regulatory bodies will ensure that QUOINE build its future Liquid Platform that is not only endorsed by regulators but also welcomed by cryptocurrencies enthusiasts/hardcores. The confidence in this world class management team is backed by some Japan richest as well as key influential investors which I have mentioned in my earlier ICO review.
2. Well Structured Management Team
Mike Kaya more has assembled a team which compliments each other. I have gone further to elaborate on my take on QUOINE management team in my earlier ICO review.
The key to success would be contacts, relationships and marketing.
This is a very opposite approach to some other $ICOs. Most of which I have chosen not to participate and not really performing really well after their initial moon on day 1 or 2.
Another very good example would be Apple. Enough said.
3. Amazing Community and Community Managers
I am usually quite active on QUOINE Telegram with exception of my full-time job and my recent Finnish holiday (yes I am having a jolly good time!)
One thing which impressed me is the level of commitment from the community managers who have placed alot of commitment into this with alot of them clocking additional hours outside their appointed slot just because they are fervously behind QUOINE. The level of dedication and commitment is second to none as I witnessed their patience tested way too many times due to many users being oblivious to changes made during the ICO as well as user acceptance on the platforms.
This community brings out the best in us. I see many of the community willing to contribute to QUOINE according to our strength and experience. Kester has done a few several good job of transcripting Mike #AMA. Something which I believed needs to be done but I possible wasn’t cut out for this. The oher CMs have shown a level of dedication and commitment that has regularly surpassed my belief. They are the first one on the front line to address community concerns as well as requests and issues, no matter how unreasonable, ignorant and posh the request / complaint may seem. I am definitely not cut out for this line of duty.
Myself? I am a full-time IT Business development professional and a swing trader. I do my very best to write articles (and videos if I have the time) to bring a fair and transparent view on my take on QUOINE. This is on top of my interactions with the community.

Conclusion
Rome is definitely not built overnight. I am keeping my hands and feets very grounded.
QUOINE have a plan, they have a strategy.
I feel well positioned to assess their performance being based in the same country as their HQ as well as being regularly involved in the community.
QUOINE is on the stable road to success. The 5X gain may have caught me by surprised but I have always thought that in $QASH I have found a safe and steady bet. Let’s see what the future has in store for $QASH.

This is really an amazing write up. I’m invest into Qash since ICO and I’ve been very impressed with their exchanges and the team so far! Currently the coin is not doing amazing due to the bull run of BTC ETH LTC but I can’t agree with you more with the fact that Qash IS going to be top10 cryptocurrency marketcap within one year!
