It's really nice to see South Africa described as a good place to take a vacation. That's so far off the traveled road as far as the press is concerned. I really enjoyed the sense of perspective you offer in your photos, too. Very intimate, very inviting.
That "country store" had me going with locally bottled and packaged food. That is part of the allure of travel, seeing and tasting how the locals preserve their food for sale.
I bet seeing a toucan up close and personal and in the wild was a treat, too.
It was really a treat seeing it so close but it flew away quickly!
It is sad also that South Africa is depicted so badly in the press as there's a lot of good stuff happening here but then good news simply does not sell!
