Hey thanks for that very personal rationalisation. It's why individuals like you are a type of 'canary in the mine' on the goings ons of this Hive thing.
I agree that I do hit the extremists angle. Which is deliberate because I point of things that should be of serious concern.
Look at LEO for instance.. NOW CONSTANTLY IN 504 ERROR.. yet @khaleelkazi made promises to his community that things were taking long to develop because getting the backend (throughout) strong to handle growth was the focus ... then he said .. "we have achieved it and LEO would handle growth when they focused on growth."
NOW.... finally they're pushing towards community growth... but the whole UI change is clearly not ready and the backend is working against them.
There's talk (blame) on HIVE nodes not coping... but then shit... what did he mean by backend?
If the solution was to build their own node then why did they not foresee that?
Anyway on Ads I have an idea that could work alongside users like you that have a dislike for them... so maybe I'll make a new account and be better mannered with dialogue so as not to get in the negative with rep.
HIVE imo was always going to be years before fruitful harvest so there's a few things moving towards an ecosystem with more to offer them just basic blind votes for text input.
The beauty of this still non existent web3 world is that there's now a multiple of platforms wanting to attract content to their ecosystems, to then boost their exposure.
Good content creators wet dream.
At this point I'm not interested in heavily critiquing LEO's approach. The ads and branding do make me cringe but that's personal preference. No fault of theirs. Looks like they got their technical difficulties sorted for now. I expect hiccups like that. In general I have one foot in the door, one foot out. Wasn't my scene to begin with. Some good people hanging out though; I enjoy entertaining people.
As for other platforms, I made a personal commitment years ago to keep this brand exclusive to this platform/market. Won't budge on that one. Not a franchise that needs to be on every corner overexposed to the elements and micromanaging my life to death. Not my style. Being underground is cool.
As for reshaping yourself, yes, I suggest you do that. Nothing wrong with being a decent human. You'll be the one who benefits most from it.
