RE: BlockTrades adds support for buying/selling EOS

It's good to see you all having more trading pairs with STEEM/SBD even if us citizens of the USA are excluded, @blocktrades. I guess I'm living in a dictatorship after all. Does EOS even want to be a security? What's there to determine? I'm not really that keen on buying EOS myself, I just don't like the idea of some kind of regulatory authority over crypto. Wasn't it partly invented to free us of such tyranny? I certainly don't want you folks in trouble for following the law, so I'm not frustrated with you at all. I'm just annoyed that the governments have to have their grubby paws into everything.

I'm sure EOS doesn't want to be a security and I haven't seen any determination by the SEC itself that it is. The biggest risk factor is statements by the head of the SEC that he thinks pretty much every ICO is a security (don't quote me, I'm roughly paraphrasing at best). I personally find the ambiguity of it all very annoying as well.

Keep it in limbo indefinitely with ambiguity, I guess. About as effective as regulating it, except there's no apparent kick back (fee/tax) this way.
