Young goalkeeper Muhammad Raffa Rolly Casillas will represent Indonesia in the opening parade of the 2018 World Cup, held at the Luzhniki Stadium, Moscow, today. The 12-year-old will perform with representatives from 211 countries, who previously joined the Football for Friendship program, organized by the World Football Federation and Russian energy company Gazprom.
Raffa says it is very proud to represent Indonesia in mini football for the Friendship tournament. Together with his friends, Raffa attended the parade exercise on Wednesday morning. "This is the first time I can see directly the World Cup, do not expect to also participate in the opening parade," he said on the sidelines of the program Football for Friendship at Lokomotiv Stadium, Moscow.
According to Raffa, many valuable experiences can be taken by playing in teams that contain children from different countries. Despite the different languages and cultures, Raffa does not find it difficult to communicate with his teammates. "The language of football in my opinion the same and easy to understand, the important thing to speak in the field let me communicate fluently," he said.
According to the Chairman of the Football Program for Friendship Vladimir Sherov, able to bring children from all over the world to the opening of the 2018 World Cup is a pride and honor for Russia. "They will carry the flag of their respective countries," he said.
