Natural State vs. Overactive Lifestyle

in #blog7 years ago

A lot of people these days are focused on doing, being productive and getting results. Moreover, they are multitasking, overworking, and not being present with what's actually going on around them.

It's a result of the tendency to distract themselves from what they are feeling. Being in the mind, constantly racing, judging and analyzing. It is not natural and healthy to be active every minute of the day and only rest while sleeping.

The natural state of being is focus on the heart, on the present. The heart is always supporting and listening, never judging. It's naturally grateful and patient. And that's how you want to be too.

Peace is our essential state. Not chaotic action. Acting from peace and stillness and love is what's truly fulfilling and secure. It's a foundation and stability, upon which we can build our life decisions and substential connections.

What are the ways that you rest and relax during the day?

Do you give yourself permission to be still and truly present with how you feel?

Do you practice meditation, yoga or connect to nature?

Since I pinched a nerve I had to slow down a lot, and I realized how much tension I was holding by not taking time to relax. I'm stating to feel much better and take time to just relax each day now, knowing it's not wasting time, it's taking care and that will make me be actually more productive in the long term

Yeah, sometimes we need something like that to help us realize what we can start doing differently. I'm glad you're feeling better :) So true, self care is never a waste. 💕
