I will start with the most important thing first. I don't really like to talk about myself, I find it aggrandizing, and boring. I love to talk about ideas and events. My blog will be dedicated to the Cryptoverse, life, and photography. Like many, I finally leapt with both feet into the Cryptoverse just this year. Although, I have been paying attention since the Silk Road days, and for years was quite skeptical, but once I did a little more research my eyes were opened. As of late I have been honing my writing skills, and if you are reading these words I thank you for taking your time to read my blog.

As you can guess from my pen name I do not believe in traditional social systems. I think it is a catastrophic tragedy that humanity is divided into 195 nation states. This is a transitory phenomenon; nations are artificial social constructions used by the powerful to stay powerful. Nationalism is a mental illness of humankind. Tribalism and the age of empires has metastasized into a malignancy which threatens the very future of humanity. As I discuss the Cryptoverse I will try to elucidate my vision for the future. How Web3 and Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAO) offer a glimpse of a future without the iron fist of the nation-state. Humanity is facing transnational challenges that threaten to overwhelm individual countries. Coordination between countries is abysmal while the problems fester and multiply. Authoritarianism and Fascism are on the march again, while democracies dither. The nation state system is a failure, it is high time that people come together for a different future. I know... idealistic bullshit... but if we don't at least have an ideal we can strive for then times would be dark indeed.

I have studied history, ancient and medieval in particular. I have a real passion for knowledge and understanding where we come from. Additionally, I love photography (all the pictures in this post are mine). I have been lucky enough to be able to travel the world, over 30 nations and counting, the pandemic has been a real blow to my travelling addiction, but I've been able to save some money for when this ends (if ever).

This is the most I have talked about myself outside a job interview in quite a while, so I'll leave it for now. I also write on Publish0x so if you'd like to read more about crypto check it out. Thank you again for reading my blog and I am excited to be here at PeakD, on the Hive Blockchain, punching our moon ticket together. Thank you @traciyork, @lovesniper, @ocd for the introduction, because this is all a little confusing. Until next time.

Glad to have you around! I agree with a lot of what you say, not sure about the tribal feel, im a very tribal person i guess, dont really think we humans work better in great numbers, i always had this idea the tribal setting is a lot more beneficial when comparing to large cities and social construct... more than 200 is very hard to manage without power structure... im sure we will have lots to discuss in the coming years.
Yes it does become difficult to "manage" once groups become larger. However, our tribalism is threatening to destroy civilization with nuclear weapons. I see one humanity and all nations threatening eachother with obliteration are committing crimes against the collective humanity. We're here only a short time and people are fucking ruining the planet for their own selfish bullshit. We've kinda fucked ourselves into a corner and time is running out to turn the corner. I'm typically an optimist, but on these topics I'm quite cynical and jaded. Anyway I thought you'd comment about Tolkien.
That was another post i think, from there i came here i guess, to counter the trend and my own worst instincts i try to think about it this way, i make t he best i can to stand up to those ideals, but i know i cant change or make everything better so i try with the circle near me, it is a worthless job a lot of times people are hard and slow to change, like you said we cant most times see past out own generation...
