Fallout 76: Update to patch 5 and mod adjustments

Bethesda plans to release patch 5 for the Fallout 76 online game by the end of January and has now released more details on the changes. Due to the extensive changes, the patch notes are not ready yet, but the developers still give a first look.

After the communication between developers and the Fallout 76 community was one of the major criticisms at the start of the game and the patches also contained undocumented changes, Bethesda had promised to keep in touch with gamers in the future, as well as detailed patch notes publish.

Fallout 76: Legendary mods are weakened
At the end of January Patch 5 will be released for Fallout 76, which according to the developers will contain "a large amount of fixes". That's why the patch notes are currently not finished. But to help players know what to expect, developers have announced at least some of the planned changes. Among other things, there will be adjustments to the legendary mods "Doppelschuss" and "Explosiv", which, according to many players, are simply too powerful.

Therefore, the upcoming patch lowers the damage bonus of "double shot" from 100 to 25 percent. Another statement, according to which the mod could no longer be captured in the world, was canceled again. In fact, that was probably a misunderstanding, since only the original versions will no longer be found. With "Explosive" the damage bonus is reduced even from 100 to 20 per cent of the basic damage.
