The proof of evolution in cupcakes

in #blog7 years ago (edited)

About a year ago my brother started buying these "Apple cupcakes" from the shop in his way home from work.
After a while we noticed that the price of apple is getting smaller and smaller every time he brings a new batch home.
Then it wasn't apple slices anymore and it was replaced with a grounded apple paste injection, but the apple paste kept shrinking and today there's nothing left of it but a vestigial trace of once delicious apple slices.

They did increase the sugar powder on the outside to make up for the lost taste though.
As you can see, keeping the business alive requires evolution of cupcakes to require less effort and cost less to produce, the same happens when an organism tries to adapt with it's environment, the ones that allocat their efforts more efficient survive to continue their line of "sugary no apple cupcakes"
