Say you have a dream in the middle of the night that was so inspiring, and you thought at the time, it would be great to use later. But you were too tired to get up and make a note of it.
And in the morning you decided, “Okay now I can write it down.” But when you get out your pen and paper, guess what… you can’t remember a darn thing about it!
Shocking fact:
That dream you had the night before could have changed your life forever, for the better. But… you were too lazy to get out of bed and make the effort to write it down. Maybe you remembered somethings, but the important details completely evade you now!

They say you must have a writing pad and pencil next to your bed when you sleep at night. So you can jot down the main points of your visionary dream.
How many times I have heard this? And I haven’t done it… countless times!
But when I have scribbled down those basic facts (even in the dark at times) it has been my most successful endeavours.
All I had to do in the morning was to follow up on it. Add and expand on it. Embroider here and there on it, to make it work more effectively.
What about daytime?
Sometimes we write stuff and then switch off our computers, only think of something exciting a few minutes later, what we should have added to our blog?
If we walk away and don’t write on something straight away, those thoughts… they too, disappear into thin air!
So jot the down:
Catch the thought. Make a quick note and then go off and do your thing. Then when you get back, there are your brief notes waiting for you. And you are back on track and busy as ever! And you feel so good and proud of your own efficiency.
You can smile all day, knowing you are on top of everything.
PS: I keep a small note book in my bag, so I can refer to it at any time, while I’m away from the home.

Writing is not easy for people who are not used to writing. I think the idea that comes up is the perfect inspiration for us to write it as it is.
I think, honest writers will be satisfied with their writing and can smile with relief.☺
And the reader will feel empathy for our writing. Why? Because the reader can feel as the author felt. Like me who can feel that you are an honest writer.

Oh yes, that happens to me most of the time. I'm Usually a person who is not rich in dreams. But sometimes i do have some dream in the night that makes me awake but due to laziness I don't write about it and in the morning my mind remains blank. I haven't posted for about a week, I'm planning that i will post this, i will post this, but I'm too lazy to do that, and I'm fighting with my laziness. Hopefully i will get out of it soon.
I have also heard and read bout this countless times and sadly not practised it!
I guess its because i am always tired at night,bad excuse hehehe.
I always move with a notebook though during day time and have jotted down many ideas.
Incase i have no access to a note book,i just open my notepad app on the phone and jot it down.

I answer honestly, yes. And I often ignore it to write when I have the right time. but what happened? I lost that valuable idea. I forced writing, but was never satisfied with what I wrote. That's very annoying!

Yep keeping a note pad with us is so important:) I always have one in my bag or on my desk, to write down all sorts of ideas, thoughts, sketches, lyrics etc... it’s great to just get it out of our head and onto paper! :)
Dear @artguru really your post is very important for a writer, always you give some important tips for writing that is very useful . Really wiring is not easy, nobody can't do properly ,so you are the inspiration for good writing. Very well idea to keep a note book with us all time. Everyday we think lots of things, if we watch television , read newspaper, go outside then get lot's of idea, so that time notebook will be very useful if we write the important things .
