I'm a fan of tower defense, so I decided to review the latest title of the Kingdom Rush saga:
Vengeance. For the one that do not know about this series, is the most famous one (and probably the best one) in terms of originality, gameplay, game-depth and coolness in the realm of tower defense.

All the saga is based in a fantasy-medieval world, which features elven warriors, mage, sorceress, wizards, ghosts, vampires, skeleton, demons and more. As every tower defense, the aim of the game is to block the army of evil to reach the end of the track.
On the latest episode, after beating the Evil master (aka Lord Vez'nan's), you play as a servant to net him the throne back. It's the first time you will play a tower defense game as the evil force, trying to kill all the dwarves and the elven troops!
On the top left of the corner you can see the lives, the gold and the number of the wave. On the bottom left you have the Hero icon with his stats and three powers (a spell, reinforcements and the hero power). On the bottom right there are 1 time usable items to try to beat the hardest stages. I play at Veteran difficulty.

I consider this game one of the very best and a gem of it's kind. The newest chapter adds the dimension of playing with the Evil forces, which is another layer of variety to the pack. I don't like at all the choice of restricting the number of available towers and heroes, to have the full game you have to spend around 30 €/$. At 3.49 it's a steal for a game that's addicting, fun, not easy as it's supposed to be. I'm still doing the first 10 stages at the highest difficulty, so will update this review as time goes by.
