Limiting worry

Worry is a very fickle thing, one minute you're panicking about your hair slightly receding the next about your PS4 controller about to run out of battery mid way through the last of us 2 campaign.... If it's one thing that's blocked me from reaching my potential, it's depleting my time trapped inside my head worrying myself into a coma. There have been times where I just stand still paralysed, continually digging for a solution in an endless pit of thoughts. When in reality the very thing I was worrying about fizzles into being nothing.

Before I worry about ranting in this post the point I'm trying to make is. I've recently discovered that worrying about needless and futile things, overtime, make you unhappy. Spending more time in your head worrying leaves you with less time in the present living.

When you next find yourself in your head, think to yourself, is this important? Are these thoughts making me sad? or ... have I had this internal debate before? the chances are, you're pointlessly worrying.
