It has been a little while since I started the plumbing in the small house. Well, today we have water in the tub and sink in the small house. I still need to get to the washer and the kitchen sink but it is one victory at a time. I got all the lines in under the small house and was really sore and hurting, so yesterday I took a break and relaxed. I got up this morning and told my self we are going to get water done the bathroom today. Here it is finally in! Yes, it is not pretty but it works and that is what matters, it will be concealed by something not sure yet as the slide in cabinet idea did not work now with the valves and all in place but we will figure it out.
I have the sink in so you will not be able to see it but have a ball valve under the sink to shut of hot and cold to just the sink. Everything has its own shut off in case we need it, better to have it then need it and not have it.
I even got the surround in around the sink. There is still some more to do here on the tub and such, we have to get the trim done in the bathtub and we have to get the shower curtain rods up and in place. My wife wants a rain shower head up but also wants a sprayer installed so it can be used in the tub or shower. So we have to go get that and get creative getting the shower head plumbed up.
Sorry, this picture sucks my smartphone does ok sometimes and sometimes not. I took the same picture 5 times and this was the best one. There will be more on this later, I just wanted to see water running in the small house. I will have to run the wire for the water heater tomorrow and get it hooked up to the breaker box, then we will have hot water in the small house too. Thanks for taking the time and reading our blog. Oh yay, bathroom plumbing! the poor Husband had an awful time with ours. Seems inevitable that things will come up requiring one to say "we'll figure it out!"
Yep, said "We will figure it out." a lot in the last few days. I have realized that I hate doing plumbing. LOL

Thanks, brother! Did not like it when putting all those cutoffs in but after it was good. Just have to remember which one I turned off when water does not come on.
Progress is progress! Keep moving forward! I will tell you this plumbing is one of my least favorite things to do! I have a 93 year old house and everything is an adventure when working on it!!
I do not like plumbing either, but it had to be done. I would rather run electric any day of the week than do plumbing.
Always great to get a task done. One at a time or like I do you have 12 going while working on one but they will still get done one at a time. Congratulations.

I understand your problem. I am dealing with 108 year old knob and tube wiring that was connected to romex in 1972 when I bought the house. I think I prefer plumbing. With plumbing I don't have to worry about a fire. Want to trade? LOL!!
Yeah, I would trade in a heartbeat! I have done a lot more of electrical work than plumbing work and plumbing drives me nuts.
