Jitendra and Devika were old couples, and they lived in a small village. Rajendra was 70 years old and Devika was 65. Once they had been to their son's place who was living in the city. They were very happy to see their child was successful and living with his family so happily. They also had their grandson and granddaughter. whose name were Rahul and Arunima. When they stayed there for a few months, they saw their son's family life style was so modern. One day Devika prepared her traditional food for their grand children. She had prepared food with a lot of love and labor. As because she was very old to cook food, She felt very tired to cook for them, But she managed to do that, cause shed loved her grand children very much. When she served them with the food she had prepared with traditional way she used to cook in her vllage, Her daughter-in-law smiled little bit and told her that this is very healthy and tasty traditional food but their children were used to eat pizza's and burger and all other junk foods, So it will not be very satisfying for them to eat, She told Devika that she and her husband will eat that food as they were not that lucky to get that traditional and tasty food in the city for a long time. She tried to manage the situation that her mother-in-law should not get hurt.
Whole day Jitendra and Devika spend their time at home because they were not aware of that city and its places, Also
because other family members were busy doing their daily routines. When everyone returned home from their job or colleges they used to spend their times on study or using computers. They were having their evening snacks for a while and again busy doing their routines until dinner.
This old couple were unable to spend their beautiful time with these kids because they were so busy in their schedule. One day Devika expressed her worries before her daughter-in-law that these kids are always sitting for long hours of study or in front of computers. which is not good for their health. Her daughter-in-law again smiled and convinced her that if they will not work hard how they could compete with this fast moving world. So they have to work hard for them.
But Devika was not satisfied with her answer.They felt that by doing this their grand children will cut themselves from real world. And they will never get practical knowledge of what is happening around. They were so worried because they knew this habit will affect badly their children health.
After sometime their children had their vacations for some days. Rahul and Arunima were told by their parents to take their grand parents on a tour of the city. Children were also very excited to go withe their grand parents.
After visiting many places when they were returning home they saw some people gathered on a street side walkway, To know about what had happened they rushed there , There was a young man arguing with an old man because he misbehaved old man's daughter. When that old man opposed it the young man started to beat him in front of people.
When Rahul saw this he began to move towards that young man who was arguing and beating the old man, When Devika saw Rahul was going to involve in their matter, She resist him and asked him not to interfere in their matter. But Arunima signaled Rahul that he should go there and save the old man from that person. Rahul then went there and slapped that misbehaving young man with anger and threaten him not to disturb or misbehave that old man. After this the person who was arguing started to fear from Rahul as because he was right and everyone was supporting him. Then he ask for forgiveness infront of everyone and ashamed of his bad deed. Then that old man and his daughter thanked Rahul for his help. Everyone who was present there also appriciated Rahul for his courage and right action.
After seeing all this Rahul's grandparents asked him why he interfered in that matter, And wondered that what had happened if that person was so strong and dangerious, Rahul replied his grandmother that , during those days people generally maintained distance from bad people, and generally never stand against crime. But now-a-days this young generation will not bear any bad behaviour or crime. This young generation have also right treatment for these kind of bad personalities. This young generation has the power to fight against crime and corruption. In old times people might not defend these unsocial people , But in this modern world everyone has the right to fight against them, And everyone is free to live their life happily with respect.
After listening to Rahul his grand parents were very much satisfied and proud of the thought process of this new generation. They finally understood this new generation is so modern but have the right thinking.
