A little over a year ago, I made this post at the other chain.
It was all about how I wanted to start a modular synthesizer rack.. Or as some may call it, a Eurorack.
Well, guess what? Today is finally that day!
This little hobby isn't exactly cheap and with previously living in Austin, all of my money went into having a place to live. Now that we live in a MUCH cheaper area, and somehow scored a nice little raise at the J. O. B. I have decided to celebrate with starting a rack.
I do have a little bit of a stumbling block, though.
I CAN'T DECIDE ON A GD CASE!!
throws stuff
Ahem
Sorry about that, it was uncalled for.
Anyway, I need some recommendations on a case. Perhaps @drumoperator has some ideas... I have no pieces yet outside of the Moog Mother-32.
Gaaaahhhh..
It's too much to take in!
Just saw this! Derp. Best case scenario ..... (you see what I did there) is the Make Noise case. Not the absolute best power supply but the best pound for pound package. I've also heard good things about the intellijel version of a similar two row design.
Just use an old cat house and bolt in some rails.
you spend money on you and not on cats for ISA?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
I have no words of advice to give you for this situation. Does this stuff fit into a standard 19 inch rack mount? If it does, there's probably too many options available...
