When I started blogging back in July, the idea of putting out content outside of a bigger publication - under my own umbrella, as it were - was terrifying. I was excited, don't get me wrong, but it was that sort of twisted excitement that kind of makes you sick to your stomach - because you just don't know what's going to happen.
Fast forward three months, and I'm thrilled, somewhat shocked, and totally proud at how well things are going. In fact, I don't know what I'm more shocked about - that people actually like what I'm doing, or that I stayed focussed enough to keep it going for so long. Anyway, I've no plans to slow down, and joining Steem was always right near the top of my ever-growing to-do list of tasks that never seem to get done! But, hey, here we are...
If you've followed my blog at all you'll know I loathe writing welcome posts - I get totally lost for words and end up rambling on and on and on... see!? But it's also the chance for some shameless promo, so I am, of course, going to milk it till it's totally dry.
Here's the basics: I'm Connor, 23, and I work as a journalist in London, England. I love what I do, and one of the main reasons I started blogging is so I could do more of it, and share with you guys some of the products and releases that I particularly love, and that I wish I could have written more about. So how am I going to use Steem? Well, I'll still be uploading full-length posts onto my blog (obvs), but over here I'll be sharing snippets with links to full posts to keep you guys in the loop. I'm also going to be sharing special content that won't be published anywhere else, with mini-reviews of my favourite releases, updates on where I've been and what I've been doing, and basically anything else you guys want to see.
Over the next few days, I'm gonna work through everything that's already up on the site and share it on here but, in the meantime, check out what's going on and drop me a comment below to say hi and let me know what you want more of - and I'll do my best to make it happen!

I know there's a lot to absorb, but I did want to mention that you might want to check out the @steempress-io plugin - it's an amazeballs way to auto share your blog posts directly to Steem. When I first started here two years ago, I only shared snippets & links to my WP posts, but I soon realized it did nothing to increase traffic to my domain. Dual posting to both turned out to be the way to go (IMHO, of course).
