Huawei is developing a crypto wallet application to publish in its own app store. With the application to be developed through BTC.com partnership, Huawei will be the first among smartphone makers. AppGallery, a crypto wallet application that will come preloaded on all Huawei and Honor devices that will be available for sale in the coming period, will help keep many crypto currency on your phone.
This application, which will not be able to serve in China due to China's decision to close the crypto money exchanges, will serve in countries outside of China. Crypto money investors in China have difficulty accessing such websites and applications, but they are not completely prohibited.
In China, which is far ahead of the world in terms of mobile payments, Alibaba's Ant Financial and JD.com's JD Finance applications enable thousands of mobile payments every day. The country where the giants race to get a share from the mobile payment market is one of the best places to use blockchain. Recognizing this, Huawei has also announced that it is developing a blockchain-based mobile payment system.
Jaime Gonzalo, vice president of Huawei Mobile Services, said:
Crypto-currencies have recently expanded widely in the digital economy. We expect our leadership position in China to see tremendous growth in the habit of adopting global crypto-diversity in the near future, as a result of the spending of mobile payments.
