RE: Offline

I decided to mention my top followers (in terms of Steem Power) in every post's comments. I hope to draw their attention and get a hefty upvote.

I also promote my posts on Facebook and I am slowly growing my base of followers.

But after 6 months, I realized many were gaming the system with bots. I felt like I had no other choice but to join in.

I hope to clean up my feed so I can vote for everyone at least once a week, but I doubt I will get much reciprocation.

I dunno, succumbing to the situation feels like the opposite of "be the change you wanna see", although perhaps there's a reason for the saying "fight fire with fire". Might have some truth to it but feels like the opposite for me just like going to war for peace.

Personally I think reciprocation has nothing to do with performance, which is why I'm not big on support4support..

I don't want to buy votes, but I don't want to have a low reputation score either.I feel if I could get at least 17 cents on every post (legit votes), this site makes economic sense in my set of alternative income steams.

I don't feel reciprocation is appropriate either. Nut the WHALES NEVER sharing their power with others is even worse. That is why I'm cleaning up my feed to align myself with people who have similar interests. Now I can spread my vote around to those who post relevant content and find better resteem opportunities.
