The wait finally ended and Avengers: Infinity War is already in theaters, culminating ten years of productions, movies, and stories, which began when Iron Man was released. Perhaps many thought that this moment would never come, perhaps many believed a crossover between the most famous characters of the company Marvel Studios impossible, but April 27 will be an indelible date for the fans that closely follow their productions and films, because the dream of many became a reality.
After The Avengers marveled movie theaters; Avengers: Age of Ultron follow the legacy (also add new characters to the template of superheores) and Civil War dissolve the grouping due to differences between thoughts between the two both affected, arrives Avengers: Infinity War to unite them again in order to stop Thanos and their eagerness to get Gems of Infinity.
Unlike with other films of the company, here the danger is latent at all times, from the minute one of these to the expectation of any event, as it feels that anything can happen to anyone and it really is that way. The death of Loki was quite cruel, I did not see it coming (especially because I did not think that Marvel had the intention of killing a character that has enough empathy with the public). The same thing happened with Heimdall, I did not imagine his death especially because I imagined him fighting in Wakanda with the rest of the Avengers.
The action is present at all times, since the movie starts (which in fact starts in a completely different way from what we are used to) we watch our heroes fight against Thanos and the Black Order The fight between Hulk and Thanos is quite a visual delight due to the good coordination of movements and synchronicity of the scene.
The plot progresses quite quickly and in a fairly fluid way. He explains to us what is happening in all the places where the Gems of Infinity are and what happens with each of the Avengers ( by the way, all the theories with regard to Gem of the Soul go to the trash once they show us the place where it is), and it is precisely that detail that makes us concentrate on the film, because it really catches the audience in an incredible way (or at least that was my case and that of all those who saw it with me).
The tone of Avengers: Infinity War is more cruel (in comparison to the other tapes of the company) and that is due in large part to the characteristics and personality of the Black Order. I loved every second that I saw on screen Ebony Maw and Proxima Midnight, of all the members of the Black Order I feel that they are the ones that they steal the reflectors. Each of them transmits personality, rudeness (in its own way, Ebony as a torturer and Proxima through blows, to name two examples) and incredible security. The scene of Ebony Maw torturing the Dr. Strange to give you the Gem of Time is one of my favorites.
As the minutes go by, we see that our heroes make groups and go through different paths, making the movie even more attractive because we see, for example, Rocket interacting with Thor or Okoye fight intensively with Black Widow against Proxima Midnight. Each of these groups will have a specific mission, a mission that they create in an improvised way, since anything can happen at any time.
Death here becomes a reality, and as the minutes pass we see more characters die. Although the great deaths (excepting that of Gamora) occur at the end of the film. There, once Thanos has the Gems of Infinity , it eliminates half of the population that is in the whole universe, and I get, many of our heroes. Spider-Man (and in a very emotional way, disappearing in the hands of Tony Stark, while telling him that he was not feeling well), Black Panther, Groot (again), Bucky, among others, vanish, thus leaving, mainly, the original alignment of the Avengers. Thanos, on the other hand, leaves the earth with the Gauntlet of the Infinite destroyed and (I assume) unusable.
Among my favorite fights, I highlight the one that originated in space, where the group led by Tony (or the Dr. Strange, or Star Lord, I do not know hahaha) tried to stop Thanos, but without success. The coordination of this fight is perceived at all times, in addition to our heroes manage to make a strong and strong team, achieving for the Crazy Titan a couple of minutes.
The other is the final battle. God, indeed everything here becomes epic. Taking into account that the battle took place in Wakanda, the Dora Milaje together with the whole kingdom of that nation (Wakanda) created a dignified resistance and strong. The climax during this part of the film is incredible and huge, besides being the place where they kill the last two members of the Black Order and where the vast majority of our heroes die. Putting that aside, the scene of Thor trying to kill Thanos or when he goes into action after having built his new hammer made more than one scream in the movie theater, and see the Cap stop a blow of Thanos for me, it was the best thing in the world (taking into account that Steve is my favorite avenger).
Among the things that I liked the most are:
Death feels like something real, which gives more weight to the arrival of Thanos to the earth, because that means that anything can happen and that anyone can die.
The unexpected appearance of Red Skull, finally Marvel responds to this enigma.
For the second time (the first was in Thor Ragnarok) show us a Thor really strong and imposing, the character seems to be taking a new direction.
The difficult decision making among the members of the group to achieve a common good (example: the death of Vision at the hands of Wanda).
The maturity that was given to Peter and the addition of metal legs to the Iron Spider suit.
But... Also (in my opinion) has its bad things (or things that seem to me to happen), and in it I highlight (although it is not that they are many):
The low participation of Hulk, being him the Avenger strongest (at present, although with what you see here of Thor I already put the balance in favor of God of Thunder.)
Iron Man must have died at the hands of Thanos.
That all the heroes were not together in the final battle.
Not having given participation to Ant-Man and Hawkeye. At times as crucial as these, having them would have been important.
I would have liked to see some Avenger die at the hands of some member of the Black Order (except Cap haha).
With so many films already confirmed, deaths at the hands of Thanos and Gems of Infinity are less important because we already know that they will come back to life (in some way or another).
In conclusion, I really enjoyed the movie, and it is undoubtedly among my favorites. The time of each character on the screen is justifiable and it becomes quite emotional since many of their events do not wait for them and those events mainly attack our favorite characters. It should also be noted that although the film does not bear the name of Thanos anywhere, the development that we see mostly is his, since the plot revolves around him and his plans to conquer the Gems and not because of that the low quality film, on the contrary. Thanos becomes a villain of those you want to know more and more, a character that justifies each of the decisions you make and will not rest until you reach your goals. It is really an epic film in every sense, a movie where once again the strongest heroes on the planet come together to stop everything that threatens the universe.
We are in a golden age for lovers of superheroes, a time where there are always better and better things, a time worthy to admire and enjoy. Marvel showed us (once again) that he knows how to do things and why he does things the way he does. It is also a fact that to understand this movie, you should have seen a few of the passages. I hope you liked my post, soon we will see more content.
