Do you ever feel like every statement possible is wrong?"
Do you ever get so far into modernity, post-modernity, “call it what you will” in your brain that you feel like every possible statement you could make would be wrong? I’m normally inclined not to speak, not just because I may be a fairly slow person, but because so many conversations, topics, discussions have so many connotations, opinions, biases, misinformation, and plethoras of subjective material embedded in them that the mere response to them is “sound and fury, meaning nothing”. We are all programmed about the virtue of spouting and sparring over a variety of opinions on superficial and mostly random topics. Unfortunately, it is very rare to carve out the space with real discussions in life. One has to actively find personal epicenters of meaningful dialogue. The great distraction and trick of our culture is by far the nonsense factor of daily blatherings. It’s not so much even about propaganda or misinformation. It’s just the riling up of the masses to pontificate and become endlessly anxious and distracted on an endless list of red herrings and irrelevant tiffs. So hard to find dialog based in personal meaning and reasonable thought.
If you can't fit inside one field of study you probably weren't supposed to
We are continuously told we are supposed to place our mind into one type of box. We are supposed to choose a career and think that way, a political party and think that way, an ideology, a nation, a gender, a historical time period, a regionalization, a culturalization, an ageization… the list goes on and on. We are continuously told to get inside different boxes and walk around in those clothes. If you ever feel like you don’t belong in those equilateral zones of distortion, it is because you don’t. All of us are unique blends of concepts and creativities; all of us are our blends within blends within blends. Histories, cultures, thoughts, currents, realizations, opinions, and new facts/discoveries constantly mixing in fluidity. We are taught constrictions and our brain reinforces it via a love for repeating patterns and habits. But resist the urge to conform and trust in your endemic originality as long and as much as you can.
life is the sequence of hunger and satiation
Are we able to use our freedom to feel good?
Life is the sequence of hunger and satiation.
Working towards a goal is one of the healthiest modes of human behavior. In fact, without it there is no health.
Only fools criticize the rituals of others. We are all only shouting at the darkness within our own cave.
Find the centers that reflect our own souls.
Our rituals are increasingly stripped until they match ourselves.
No one is making us actually be moral all the time.
There can never be a direct agency always asking us to be moral all the time.
The only way is thru education b/c evolution may not even be capable of this.
You can’t regulate capitalism. It’s called capitalism for a reason.
If it was called Humanityism then it wouldn’t have to be regulated.
The dilemma is as always the game theory dilemma, the prisoner’s dilemma, the us vs. them dilemma, the manipulation-bigotry-uneducated-misinformed-frightenend-nationalistic-racialistic-fill-in-the-blank negativistic dilemma !!
The only way to control the world is over simplify and amplify the narrative (the fool's way of trying to dominate the world in their image)
The only way to control our inner world is over simplify and amplify the narrative (the awares' narrative of how to maintain their own inner peace/kingdom)
Peace @ClumsySilverDad
nice piece of food for thought , and I agree to most of what you are writing here , as I walk a same sort of pad up into the unknown and observe the many opinions and ideas around me , trying to think , act and live out of the box as I can. Comparing my habits and patterns and the resemblance and differences between every living human. thanx for sharing your view ;) and I can say I share it :)
hey thanks // have a great one
